It’s a short turnaround as the Oakland Raiders host their division rival Los Angeles Chargers to kick off Week 10. Here are three bold predictions for Thursday night’s game.

If there was ever a time to ride the momentum off a huge win, it’s on a short turnaround like Week 10 for the Oakland Raiders. With the Los Angeles Chargers coming to town off of an impressive win themselves, the stage is set for a game that can have implications on a playoff race for both teams.

The Raiders’ offense has been clicking, with the running game behind Josh Jacobs at the forefront and Derek Carr being sharp as ever in year two of Jon Gruden’s system. Rookies like Hunter Renfrow are coming into their own, while Oakland’s tight end group has been the x-factor, arguably the best tight end position group in the league.

Despite early-season struggles, the Chargers bottled up Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, and very likely could be steering their season back on track. Phillip Rivers has been fond of playing in Oakland, so the Raiders’ secondary must play at a high level to help secure a win.
