The Raiders appear to have found a nice mix of pass rushers with Benson Mayowa and Maxx Crosby coming off the edge, but they still lack depth at the position. With Mayowa in-line to become a free-agent this offseason, drafting another guy to play off the edge could be a crucial depth move.

The Florida defender, Jonathan Greenard is a speed rusher that has a few counter moves in his arsenal. He’s athletic enough to drop back and pick up pass catcher on underneath routes, primarily in zone coverage. He’s been a three-down edge rusher in college and should continue to be at the next level if he continues to develop towards the standard of his projection.

He’s in his first season at Florida, after spending his previous three seasons in the ACC at Louisville, but the adjustment appears to have been smooth. In his junior season he recorded seven sacks, ranking sixth in the ACC. Now, in his final year in the college ranks Greenard has racked up 4o total tackles, seven TFL’s, four sacks, one interception, three passes defended, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
