The Raiders defensive front has shown many signs of improvement with the addition of defensive line coach, Brentson Buckner. Adding another defensive tackle to help anchor down the middle with Mo Hurst and Jonathan Hankins would provide the Raiders with an asset to sit and learn.
The Georgia defensive tackle, Tyler Clark is a player that pushes the pile with regularity to fight his way into the backfield. Clark is primarily a run defender, but does offer occasional pressure on quarterbacks with his immense size.
In Clark’s senior year as a member of the Georgia Bulldog’s he’s recorded 19 tackles, 3.5 TFL’s, and 1.5 sacks through seven games played.
Pros:
- Size
- Shed blockers
- Vision
Cons:
- Sack ability
- Lacks arsenal of pass rushing moves
- Change of direction
