The Raiders are a playoff team

Believe it or not, the Raiders could be a team we see playing in the playoffs this year. The Raiders are sitting at 5-4 with the Bengals and Jets coming up over the next two weeks, as their schedule finally gets easier for a bit.

The team is not looking past the Bengals, but they know the opportunity in front of them, and they are going to take advantage of it. At one point, Derek Carr was the quarterback of a winless team deep into a year, so he knows what it feels like to be yearning for that first win of the season.

The team is at home for a third week in a row, they have a game that they should win, and they could be pushed to 6-4 after this week. The team is going to be fired up this week, and as long as they play smart and do what they should do, the Raiders are going to walk away with a 6-4 record heading into Week 12.
