Offense

Derek Carr

Through ten weeks of the 2019 season, Derek Carr is the 19th ranked fantasy quarterback, putting him in the ‘second’ tier of quarterback. However, against the Texans and Lions, Carr ranked seventh and twelfth respectively. Top 12 performances are what fantasy owners are looking for, and there is a very strong chance Carr has a top 12 week against the Bengals.

Cincinnati’s pass defense is ranked 22nd in the league, giving up an average of 256.4 passing yards per game. In their last three, however, that number jumps to 286.3. They also rank 30th in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Seems simple enough right? Start the Carr this week and you can expect 250 yards and two scores.

Josh Jacobs

Heading into Week 11 Josh Jacobs is RB9, a very solid position for the rookie running back. In his last two weeks Jacobs finished fourth and seventh. If there is one Raiders player you must start this week, it is Jacobs. The Bengals give up the most rushing yards per game at 173, giving up 150 per in their last three contests.

In addition, the Bengals are the 30th ranked team against running backs, giving up an average of 29.06 points to the position. Jacobs is in line for a huge day, especially if the Raiders are running away with the contest. Expect 100 plus yards and a score or two for Jacobs on Sunday.

Tyrell Williams

Despite being Carr’s favorite wide receiver through the first half of the season, Tyrell Williams has fallen off in recent weeks since returning from injury. The 41st wide receiver on the year, Williams hasn’t ranked in the top 48 in the last two weeks. Avoid Williams until he proves he is back as the number one option.

Darren Waller

One of the biggest surprises of the 2019 season has been the play of tight end Darren Waller. The tight end three on the year, Waller has been superb. Waller has 51 receptions for 588 yards and three touchdowns. Carr and Waller have connected well and Waller continues to show off his elite athleticism as the season goes on.

This is not necessarily a great match up for Waller as the Bengals are ranked 15th against the tight end in terms of fantasy points allowed. If you have Waller you are definitely starting him, but don’t expect a huge week from the big tight end. Should still have 4-5 receptions for roughly 50 yards, possibly with a touchdown in there if the Raiders spend a lot of time in the red zone.
