Defense/Special Teams

Ideally as a fantasy owner you have a better defense to start, but if you need a spot start this week would not be a bad time to play the Raiders defense. The Bengals have allowed the seventh most sacks this season with 31, and allowed 53 quarterback hits as well.

The Raiders defense has shown they are more equipped to get after the quarterback this season than they were last year, but they are far from a finished product. The defense may be able to put pressure on Finley and force some takeaways as well. In a pinch, you can stream the Raiders defense this week.

Overall the Raiders fantasy outlook for this week is pretty fortuitous. The offense should have a field day so Carr, Jacobs, and Waller are all fine starts. If you are desperate you can start Williams and the Raiders defense, but there are likely to be better options out there.

Hopefully Jon Gruden doesn’t let up if this one turns into a blow out, us fantasy owners need all the points from our favorite players that we can get.
