Maxx Crosby three sacks

Give Mike Mayock a medal for hitting the mark with his rookie draft class this season. That is meaningful statement given that Jonathan Abram was lost in the season opener and with Clelin Ferrell‘s slow start. Thanks to the likes of Maxx Crosby, who was drafted in the fourth round, Oakland may have found a stud to help improve the pass rush.

Last week against the Los Angeles Chargers, Crosby was attributed just a half-sack on Philip Rivers, but anyone who watched the game saw and felt his true impact. Crosby bulldozed the Chargers’ offensive line and was key in helping Ferrell have his best game of the season.

On Sunday, against a rookie quarterback and in front of the Black Hole, it will be for Crosby to have his stamp on the game. After just a half-sack game last Thursday, Mad Maxx will have his way against Cincinnati with three sacks registered in the box score.
