The AFC West will showcase only two teams during Week 12 of the 2019 NFL season, as the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos head East.
The AFC West was on full display this past weekend, as we got to see an early game and late game on Sunday, and then a primetime game on Monday. The Denver Broncos got the party started early on the road against the Minnesota Vikings, getting out to a 20-0 lead at the half, before seeing it all explode in the second of their 27-23 loss.
Oakland played their third straight home game, and came away with their third straight victory, taking care of business against the winless Cincinnati Bengals. While the game was closer than one would have liked, a win is a win, and the Raiders now stand only a half-game back of the Kansas City Chiefs for first place in the division.
Speaking of the Chiefs, it took Philip Rivers becoming a turnover machine for them to come away with the victory down in Mexico City, as they picked off the future Hall of Famer four times. Rivers has seven interceptions over his last two games, and it is safe to say his run as an elite quarterback in this league has come to an end.
With that said, let us take a look at this week’s games. Here is our preview for the 2019 Week 12 action in the AFC West.
