Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills

The Denver Broncos looked like they would pull off an incredible upset this past weekend against the Minnesota Vikings, as they held a 20-0 halftime lead. However, the Vikings fought back, sending the Broncos to their seventh loss of the season, and back into last place in the AFC West.

It has been a rough season for Denver, who thought they would get elite play from Joe Flacco, but have since turned to Brandon Allen to take them the rest of the way. Allen has shown flashes under center, and could be the long-term answer for John Elway, something he has been looking for since Peyton Manning retired.

Looking at this weekend’s matchup, the Broncos will once again hit the road, this time invading the hostile crowd of Bills Mafia in upstate New York. I do not like this matchup at all for Denver, as the Bills are one of the better teams in the AFC, and their defense should be able to do the job against this Broncos offense.

Josh Allen has played better lately under center, and the Bills defense is young, and aggressive. The Broncos showed they can go on the road and compete, so this should be a close one, but in the end, the home team comes away with the win.

Prediction: Bills 24, Broncos 21
