Oakland Raiders Behind Enemy Lines: Q&A with The Jet Press
By Brad Weiss
Heading into the Oakland Raiders Week 12 matchup with the New York Jets, we sat down with Paul Esden Jr., a co-expert for The Jet Press.
The Oakland Raiders will travel East to take on the New York Jets this Sunday, in a game that will go a long way in them setting themselves up for the AFC West title. No matter the outcome on Thursday night, Oakland will be back in a playoff spot, but they have a bigger goal in mind this season.
Oakland stands with a 6-4 record, and a win on Sunday would tie them with the Kansas City Chiefs for first place in the division. Remember, these two teams will battle it out in two weeks, making this game a must-win against the Jets.
While the Jets only have a 3-7 record, they are coming on strong as of late, and have won two straight games. They are getting solid play from their defense, including safety Jamal Adams, who already has six sacks on the season.
As we inch closer to gameday, we decided to sit down and talk with a Jets expert, and Paul Esden Jr. of The Jet Press was gracious enough to take some of our questions. Paul and his team do a phenomenal job, and he brings a Jets take to this Sunday’s game.
Here is our sitdown with Paul.
