Raiders’ offensive line play

In the first two months of the season, Tom Cable’s offensive line has played at an incredibly high level — giving Derek Carr significant time in the pocket to go through his progressions. Although, in the last two games, the offensive line has put together back-to-back poor outings, allowing six sacks over the previous two games.

The Oakland offensive line is regarded as one of the most physical groups in the league, but after struggling to stop the Chargers and Bengals pass rush, keeping an eye on how they fare against the Jets defensive front is certainly granted.

The Raiders are deeply invested in their offensive line, and the team’s results show when they keep the pocket clean for Carr, the offense takes off to another level. New York has had their issues getting after the quarterback, and if Carr gets time, he should be able to exploit their issues at cornerback.
