Josh Jacobs’ running attack

A big success to the Raiders 6-4 start has to do with their rookie running back. Josh Jacobs has put together 100 yards rushing or more in four of his last six outings — ranking as the league’s fourth highest rusher.

The offensive lineman will be pivotal in creating running lanes for Jacobs, but he’ll have to carry the load against a defense that’s led by pro-bowl safety Jamal Adams.

Jacobs will have his hands full on Sunday, as the Jets defense ranks No.1 in rushing yards allowed per game, only giving up 79.1. The former first-round pick has set the tone early on throughout games, so he’ll be someone to watch for and see how effective he can be on the ground.
