Sam Darnold vs the Raiders secondary
Sam Darnold has found little success this season, throwing for eleven touchdowns and ten interceptions. Four of his touchdowns came against the Redskins, and he has only thrown multiple touchdowns on three occasions this season.
The Raiders pass defense is nothing special, but they have stepped up in recent weeks. The Raiders have been able to force turnovers lately, and Sam Darnold turns the ball over as much as any starting QB in the league, throwing ten interceptions this season in just seven games.
Sam Darnold may not be ”seeing ghosts” against Oakland, but he sure will struggle throughout the game. If the game comes down to a game-winning drive like most Raiders games do, the defense will step up big time as usual, and force a mistake out of Darnold.
