The Oakland Raiders have the chance to move into first place alongside the Kansas Chiefs for the top spot in the AFC West standings, and it begins with Sunday’s matchup against the New York Jets. Here are three bold predictions for Week 12.

The Oakland Raiders enter Sunday’s game with their longest win streak of the season, as they picked up a win throughout the last three contest. The Jets have also hit stride of late, picking up a victory in their last two games.

Despite both teams find success in recent weeks, the Raiders find themselves in the playoff hunt. Whereas the Jets are playing an overall better brand of football, but still only have three wins on the year.

Throughout the week, Jon Gruden has emphasized to his team the importance of not looking past an opponent, regardless of what their record shows. Last week’s Raider game was no pushover, as the Raiders won by just one possession, needing a late fourth quarter stop to seal the deal. I’d expect another close game in week 12’s showdown.
