With just half the division in action on Sunday, the AFC West went winless in Week 12. Here’s our roundup of this week’s action.

Following last week’s matchup in Mexico City, the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers both enjoyed their bye week, while the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos were the lone AFC West teams in action on Sunday. Both teams traveled for respective head-to-heads with the AFC East division.

The Broncos faced the Buffalo Bills’ stout defense, while the Raiders, with a hold on the last AFC Wild Card spot, took their three-game win streak on the line against the New York Jets, riding a two-game win streak of their own. Denver’s afternoon unsurprisingly went as expected, but the outcome at MetLife Stadium undoubtedly was a plot twist.

There is still a lot of season left, but Raiders fans have to be worried about what they saw with their team on Sunday. Sure, West coast teams have issues when they head East, but there were problems on both sides of the ball, and the hated Kansas City Chiefs await in Week 13.

Here’s the week that was for the two AFC West teams in action, starting with the Oakland Raiders.
