2020 NFL mock roundup: Raiders add speed on both sides

Draft Network – Joe Marino
Pick 14 – Tee Higgins, WR Clemson
Pick 20 – A.J. Terrell, CB Clemson
Well, it isn’t the same two players, but Joe Marino doesn’t have the Raiders going too far out the box as they add even more Clemson Tigers to the roster.
First is wide receiver Tee Higgins who is also a player many draft analysts have mocked to Oakland, and he certainly would fill a need. He’s not nearly the speedster that Henry Ruggs III is, but Higgins is still an excellent vertical threat given his height at 6’4 and ability to win contested-catch situations. A large catch radius combined with great ball skills are traits any NFL team could use, so it makes sense Higgins is a first-round player.
On defense, the Raiders could be looking at a Clemson cornerback tandem if they decided to take A.J. Terrell to play opposite Trayvon Mullen. Much like Mullens, Terrell is a long, athletic corner with the ability to play man-to-man. He won’t be a great tackler, but could undoubtedly elevate the coverage in the secondary and possibly give the Raiders two young studs for the long term.
