Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos

The Los Angeles Chargers are coming off their bye week as the enter their Week 13 matchup with the Denver Broncos inside Mile High. Los Angeles began this season as a challenger for the AFC title, but they have been wildly inconsistent, and find themselves towards the bottom of the division entering this game.

For Denver, their season has not gone as expected either, as John Elway thought the team was going to get a Joe Flacco in his prime when he made the move for him this offseason. The team has since been handed over to Brandon Allen, who has played well in stretches, but may not be the long-term answer at quarterback for the Broncos moving forward.

Looking at this matchup, the game could definitely go either way, but with the Chargers playing poorly, and the Broncos at home, I like Denver to eek one out in front of the home fans. It is always tough to go into Mile High and pick up a win, and with how bad Rivers has looked as of late, Denver’s defense should be able to force some mistakes, and send the home fans home happy.

Prediction: Broncos 20, Chargers 17
