Round 1, Pick No. 14 (From Chicago Bears): Isaiah Simmons, S/LB, Clemson

While Isaiah Simmons is listed as a safety, he would be immediate linebacker help for the Raiders. The Raiders have struggled for years at the linebacker position, and Simmons is the most talented of the bunch.

The Raiders’ injuries have forced players to play multiple different positions this season, which is something Simmons can do, as well. When building such a young team, it is important to bring in players who are versatile, and Simmons may be the most versatile defensive player in this draft class.

Of course, Oakland has Karl Joseph who is entering free agency, so the help at safety would be a huge help. In addition,  they have a ton of decisions to make when it comes to the linebacker group heading into Las Vegas, and defensive coordinator Paul Guenther could do so much with a talent like Simmons.
