Las Vegas

As a native of the East Bay, it will be difficult to watch the franchise head to Las Vegas. The move will be emotional and gut-wrenching but, to be honest, one that needed to happen. The city of Oakland isn’t in a position to splurge on a new stadium and the Raiders’ facilities are in desperate need of a make-over.

Regardless of any personal feelings towards the move, there is no denying that Allegiant Stadium will be a significant upgrade over the Oakland Coliseum. The Raiders’ new home will be a state-of-the-art facility and it’s not like there is a shortage of activities in Sin City. While it might be hard to watch the team leave the place they’ve called home for 45 years, fans will certainly benefit from the transition.

If anyone is upset about the move, look at it this way; Raiders fans just got another excuse to make weekend trips to the most-fun city in the country! In addition, this roster is being built the right way, and just maybe the Raiders have a first season in Sin City like the Vegas Golden Knight did a few years back, making it to the Finals.
