Game Preview

Despite a terrible loss in Week 12, the Raiders are still tied for a wild card spot and sitting one game behind the Chiefs for the divisional title. Everything about this game points to a Raiders loss on Sunday, but there is something about this team that turns assumptions wrong.

The Chiefs are still one of the best teams in the NFL, but there is no question that they are not as good of a team as last season. In their Week 2 matchup, the Chiefs defeated the Raiders 28-10, but the game was much closer than the score indicates.

The Raiders started off the game up 10-0 after one quarter, but the second quarter proved to be disastrous for the silver and black. The Chiefs scored 28 unanswered points in the second quarter, mostly on big plays from Patrick Mahomes.

Neither team scored in the second half, as the Raiders blew multiple opportunities due to turnovers. If the Raiders want to win this game, they are going to have to put the game in the hands of Josh Jacobs, as the Chiefs have one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL.

This will be a battle between the Raiders run game vs the Chiefs passing game, a battle between two potential Pro Bowlers in Josh Jacobs and Patrick Mahomes, and a battle between two playoff hopefuls.
