Prediction

If the Raiders are going to win this game, they are going to have to do everything right. They will have to run the ball effectively all game, they will have to keep Mahomes and the Chiefs offense off the field, and they will have to prevent the big plays.

Out of those three things, the Raiders will be able to do two out of those three things. With the injuries the Raiders secondary has suffered, it is hard to believe that they will be able to stop Mahomes from making big plays throughout the game.

Last time the Chiefs played the Raiders, the safeties were burned over and over again, and now that the Raiders are without Karl Joseph, this may happen even more than last time. Although the Chiefs are not as dominant as last season, they are still putting up points at an incredible pace, something the Raiders have struggled to do lately.

The run game of the Raiders will be successful early, but when it is not resulting in points, and the Chiefs are scoring on every drive, the Raiders will be forced to throw the ball, and will struggle. The Chiefs take this game due to the pace at which they play, and the Raiders fall to 6-6.

Prediction: Chiefs 28, Raiders 17
