The Oakland Raiders head to Kansas City in a must-win Week 13 game against the Chiefs. With a win, the Raiders grab a piece of first place in the AFC West.

The Oakland Raiders were riding high heading into their game against the New York Jets last week, but that all came crashing down as the Raiders played their worst game of the season, getting dominated by the Jets from start to finish. In their 34-3 loss, the Raiders could get nothing started on offense, and the defense was absolutely shredded by Sam Darnold.

Despite the devastating loss, the Raiders can still make a playoff push, but it starts with this game against their division rival. If the Raiders can get a win in Kansas City, they will be tied for first place in the division.

The odds are stacked against the Raiders, as Derek Carr has never won in Kansas City, and he struggles in cold weather. However, the Raiders have had a boom or bust mentality this season, and have had no issues proving people wrong all year long.

If there is one thing we know about the NFL, it is that anything can happen. The Raiders can get smoked by the Jets one week, and come back and beat the Chiefs in the next.

Let’s take a look at four reasons why this will happen.
