Raiders will feed Josh Jacobs

If the Raiders want to have any chance of winning this game, they are going to have to give Josh Jacobs the ball over and over again. The Chiefs are one of the worst defenses in the NFL when it comes to stopping the run, and when given the opportunity, Jacobs is hard to stop.

Considering Derek Carr never plays well in Kansas City or in cold weather, Gruden will want to keep the game out of his hands if possible. Running the ball will get the Chiefs defense tired, will keep Mahomes off the field, and should lead to points.

The Chiefs allow 143.1 rushing yards per game, and even though Jacobs more than likely won’t be able to reach that number, a 100-yard game could be enough to win the game as long as it results in points and solid clock management.  This Chiefs defense is very beatable, and the Raiders have the ultimate asset in the rookie from Alabama.
