Must Starts

Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs

The last time the Oakland Raiders took on the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes had a historic second quarter, but did very little outside of that. In that quarter, Mahomes threw for four touchdowns, which were more than enough, as the Raiders lost to the Chiefs in front of the home fans by the score of 28-10.

In any given week, four touchdowns from your quarterback is more than enough to win, and I expect Mahomes to have another big game on Sunday. While four touchdowns may be a bit much, he should find the end zone at least two times, especially with how bad this Raiders defense looked last weekend.

Josh Jacobs, RB, Oakland Raiders

It is no big secret that the Kansas City Chiefs have a terrible run defense, and the Oakland Raiders just happen to have one of the better running backs in all of football. Rookie Josh Jacobs had a very pedestrian game in Week 12 against the New York Jets, but they boasted the best run defense in the league, something the Chiefs are far from having.

On Sunday, the expectation is that Jacobs is going to get the ball early, and often, as the Raiders look to  not only pound it out on the ground, but keep the Chiefs explosive offense off the field. My expectation is that Jacobs eclipses the 100-yard mark in this game, and finds the end zone twice, which would be premier effort from your RB1 in the fantasy world.

Travis Kelce, TE, Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have one of the better tight ends in all of football, and the Raiders have had more than their fair share of issues against that position group this season. Last weekend, the Jets were able to utilize Ryan Griffin successfully against this Raiders defense, and he is not anywhere near the talent Kelce is.

Kelce has had some incredible games against the Silver and Black, and he is going to get every opportunity to make plays on Sunday. I expect Kelce to find the end zone at least once in this one, while racking up at least five catches, which would be great output for your fantasy team at the tight end position.
