The Oakland Raiders have been blown out the past two weeks, and though it is not likely to happen, Derek Carr could be on his way out.

After back to back 30 points losses by the Oakland Raiders, the verdict is out on Derek Carr, and many think he will be replaced before the move to Las Vegas in 2020. While there is still a ton of meaningful football left to play, Carr has been underwhelming in recent weeks, and the chatter is beginning to start again as to whether or not he is going to be the guy moving forward.

Derek Carr has been the Raiders starting quarterback for six seasons, and while he has put up good statistics, including becoming Oakland’s all-time passing leader, he has struggled when it matters. There are a ton of legit excuses for Carr’s lack of success in Oakland, such as the revolving door of coaches, lack of weapons, and young roster surrounding Carr, but how long can we accept these excuses?

Derek Carr has played well this season, but when the lights are the brightest and the Raiders line up against the best teams in the NFL, Carr tends to fold under the pressure. Carr has yet to win a game on the road against Kansas City, does not perform in the harsher elements, and over the course of his career, has not won nearly enough.

The Raiders may not move on from Derek Carr, but it is a big enough possibility to look into it. Let’s take a look at some quarterbacks that could replace Carr in 2020.
