Cam Newton

It is starting to look like Cam Newton will not be with the Carolina Panthers next season, and although he has been plagued with injuries, it seems like there is more going on with Newton that is holding him out of games. Kyle Allen has stepped in and become the new starter in Carolina, leaving Newton as the odd man out.

Newton has had an up and down career, but his skill set cannot be questioned, and when given protection, he produces. Newton would come into Oakland with a solid offensive line, a great running back in Josh Jacobs, a coach who would find creative ways to use him, and most importantly, a fresh start.

It is pretty clear that Newton is not the same quarterback that was once considered Superman, but he can still be an effect signal-caller at the NFL level. Of course, the team would have to do their due diligence and make sure his right shoulder is okay, but if he is healthy and ready to go in 2020, the Raiders may be wise to at least take a look.
