Justin Herbert, Jake Fromm, or Jalen Hurts

Justin Herbert may be a more realistic option when it comes to availability, and he looks like a quarterback who will transition well to the NFL. Herbert can do it all, with pinpoint accuracy, a strong arm, and the ability to make plays with his legs when needed.

Jake Fromm is a quarterback who can get the job done as well, but there is nothing extremely special about him. Fromm will likely fall out of the first round, making his worth skyrocket if a team could get him in the second or third round, but outside of his accuracy, it would be unlikely for Fromm to be enough to replace Carr.

Jalen Hurst is an exciting QB who could catch Jon Gruden’s eye but is not getting much respect from scouting reports and mock drafts, and while I know these do not matter, it is worth noting. Hurst is the most athletic out of the previous two mentioned, along with being accurate, as well as being able to throw the deep ball.

As much as some may want the Raiders to move on from Carr, it will more than likely take someone that really gets Gruden excited to take that risk. I believe Carr will likely be the QB in Las Vegas in 2020, but these next few games could be the deciding factor in that.
