The Raiders coverage ability has killed them defensively throughout the entire 2019 season. After trading arguably the most inconsistent cornerback in Gareon Conley, the Raiders have turned the page and given the starting job to Trayvon Mullen who possesses some promising traits. However, it’s still a position that’s hurting the defense week in and week out.

Kristian Fulton projects as a No.1 cornerback at the next level. He wins with a combination of aggressiveness and physicality, while also getting burned from time-to-time when he becomes overcommitted. Fulton has ability to track the ball well through the air and doesn’t seem outmatched by any competition when looking at his film. Fulton ranks as the No.2 cornerback on most draft experts draft boards.

Fulton has matched up against come of the best competition coming out of LSU, which is a huge quality when evaluating cornerbacks. With the Raiders pass defense deficiency, don’t be surprised if they take a cornerback early on come draft day.

Pros:

  • Fluent athlete
  • Sticky in coverage
  • Physicality

Cons:

  • Off the field history
  • Thin frame
