Possible draft pick trade destinations for Derek Carr in 2020
By Nick Ellis
If the Chicago Bears stick with Mitchell Trubisky in 2020, they will be in trouble. The Bears do not have a first-round pick because of the Khalil Mack trade from last year, but they do have two second-round picks.
Unless the Bears want to take Jake Fromm in the second round, trading for Derek Carr would not be a bad idea. Trubisky has not shown that he can play consistent football at the NFL level, and the time may be running out for him as well as head coach Matt Nagy in the Windy City.
Carr would be reunited with his best friend Khalil Mack and would be surrounded by a talented roster. The only thing holding the Bears back right now is their QB, and with the Bears defense, Carr’s style would surely result in wins for Chicago.
The only thing that could hold Carr back in Chicago is the cold weather.
