Los Angeles Chargers at Jacksonville Jaguars

For our next AFC West prediction, we have the Los Angeles Chargers (4-8) vs the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-8) in Jacksonville. Both teams here are having a bit of an identity crisis as of late, and this one does not have the kind of luster the schedule makers probably had in mind when they made the schedule.

The 4-8 Chargers, like the Denver Broncos, are not as bad as their record indicates, despite being 0-4 in the division. The Chargers have not lost any game by more then seven points, but are getting terrible play from Philip Rivers, long the constant under center for the franchise.

The Jaguars were a bit of a playoff threat earlier in the season, but with recent quarterback struggles, including benching new highly-paid quarterback Nick Foles in favor of rookie Gardner Minshew, the wheels have seemed to fall off this ride. The Chargers, on a three-game losing streak of their own, should break the curse in Jacksonville. I expect the Chargers to pull out a narrow victory here.

Prediction: Chargers 22, Jaguars 17
