Raiders return home

As much as home-field advantage probably would not have mattered the last two weeks, it is no question that the Raiders play much better in Oakland than they do anywhere else. The Raiders struggled with penalties in loud places, such as Indianapolis and Kansas City, and the traveling seems to have finally caught up to them.

They will return to Oakland this week, the place where they currently hold a 4-1 record on the season. Whether it is the crowd energy, the preparation, the weather, or anything else, the Raiders perform best at home.

Not only will the Raiders play in Oakland this week, but they will also play in Oakland or Los Angeles for the next three weeks. If they can get the job done within California over the next  three weeks, they have a legitimate shot to sneak into that No. 6 seed in the AFC as a Wild Card.
