Carr zero interceptions

After three straight weeks without throwing an interception, Derek Carr has been picked off twice in the Raiders’ last three games. Two of those were registered last week in Arrowhead, with the latter being picked off for six points and permanently turning the momentum in the favor of the Kansas City Chiefs. Carr has surely heard the chatter of whether his time in Silver and Black is coming to an end sooner rather than later.

Carr plays much better at home as opposed to on the road, and Sunday should again provide more evidence. Granted, he’ll have his hands full with the Titans defense, who is ranked 7th in the league with 11 interceptions on the season. But after two lackluster performances, and with the criticism and chatter heating up, Carr knows the only way to silence the noise is with his play on the field.

Two weeks ago the Raiders were the story of the league, now they’re being written off for good. Narratives change week-to-week, and after Sunday’s game, it should be about how Derek Carr heard the noise and answered back with his play on the field.
