Daryl Worley
The biggest free agent Oakland has to bring back is cornerback Daryl Worley. Currently, he ranks as the 10th best among the 65 corners who have played at least 500 snaps this year, in completion percentage (52.5%). Worley has been a huge surprise to some, but his talent is off the charts.
Currently making $3.1M, Worley will be looking to sign a long time contract. He is only 24 years old and is really coming into his own. He has covered on 470 snaps this year and has given up only 32 catches.
His run support is also something that isn’t talked about much, but Paul Guenther’s defense needs physical corners who will come up and make tackles. Worley has been a huge part of the defense, and between him, Trayvon Mullen, and Johnathan Abram, the Raiders have 3 really good young players that could make up a very solid secondary.
