Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers know heartbreaking losses all too well, and last week was no different. Fear not, the Chargers bounced back with a convincing win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, 45-10. After three straight performances that had many wondering whether the era of Philip Rivers was nearing its end, Sunday’s performance was much more vintage.

Rivers threw for 314 yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions. Melvin Gordon had the lone rushing touchdown, but it was Austin Ekeler that racked up 101 rushing yards on eight carries. He did even better through the air, with four receptions for 112 yards and a receiving touchdown.

All in all, a dominant win from the Chargers that was necessary after being stuck in an offensive slump for over the past three weeks. The win bumps them up to 5-8, tied with the Broncos and (surprisingly) a game behind the Raiders.
