The Oakland Raiders suffered another lousy loss this time to the Tennessee Titans, and we continue to learn a lot about this team, and it is not positive.

After getting embarrassed by the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs on the road, the Oakland Raiders looked to turn things around at home against the Tennessee Titans. In a game with huge playoff implications, the Raiders knew they needed a win to keep pace for a Wild Card spot as they welcomed in the 7-5 Titans.

Not only did that not happen, but the team looked just as lifeless at times as they did in the previous two games. The Titans came in and rolled the Raiders 42-21, and by the fourth quarter, the fans rained down boos in response to the performance.

That was not the case early on as the game looked to be an entertaining shootout with the score tied at 21-21 going into the halftime. But it appeared only one team came out to play in the second half as the Titans outscored the Raiders 21-0 to finish the game.

It is hard to imagine having a worse three-game stretch than the Raiders have had recently as they’ve been thoroughly outplayed in every phase of the game.

As we look back on this disappointing outcome, here are a few things we learned on Sunday that have become a microcosm of the season.
