92. Damon Arnette – Cornerback, Ohio State

There are a ton of great players in the Ohio State secondary, but Damon Arnette is easily the most improved of the bunch. He considered coming out last season but was advised to come back, and it has worked out great for him.

Arnette always had talent, but lack of consistency in terms of technique and eye discipline made him a prospect that you’d probably want to avoid. Now he’s made strides in all those areas and is definitely worth a top 100 pick. Arnette is versatile playing as an outside corner and in the slot throughout his career, so he provides instant depth at multiple spots. And he brings a level of swagger and attitude that would be welcomed on this team

He doesn’t have the physical trait of his teammates Jeff Okudah or Shaun Wade, so that will drop him, but the Raiders would be getting a tough and well-rounded player.

You’ll have to live with some penalties because he can be aggressive at the line and catch point, but that is also what makes him the player he is. Also, despite playing a lot of press man at Ohio State, he’s probably best in off-man.
