112. Markus Bailey – Linebacker, Purdue

There is a theme with most of these picks, and that is the ability to provide versatility. Markus Bailey fits this mold as well and could give the Raiders a much-needed coverage linebacker. At Purdue, they used Bailey all over the field, so his intelligence was always on display.

In 2018, Bailey recorded an 84.5 coverage grade according to Pro Football Focus, and when you watch him, you see the instincts.

Bailey was on his way to being a much higher pick, but a knee injury robbed him of his final year, and with that being his second knee injury, medicals are a concern. It’s still a worthwhile risk this late in the draft, and Raiders could get themselves a nice situational linebacker to help them in the middle of the field.
