Oakland Raiders Week 14 review: 3 studs and 3 duds
By Kenny King
The Oakland Raiders were taken down in a must-win game this past Sunday, and here are the three stars and three duds from the 42-21 loss.
The Oakland Raiders 42- 21 loss to the Tennessee Titans started out as a shoot out and ended with a shot in the foot, as the team failed to come out in the second half.
In a game that looked to be a dominant performance, starting with the first defensive series in which Dion Jordan tipped Ryan Tannehill‘s pass to Maurice Hurst for a 53-yard interception return, the Raiders faded late, being doubled up by Tennessee. Their 7-0 lead over the Titans on a DeAndre Washington touchdown run quickly faded, and when it was all said and done, Tennessee dominated the final two quarters.
For the Raiders, the loss likely signals the end to any playoff run, and now they will have to hope to at least win the last game in Oakland. This was a team that was 6-4 only a few weeks back, so the past three weeks have been a complete disappointment.
With that said, let us look at three stars, and three duds from Sunday’s loss.
