Pick 14- Isaiah Simmons- LB- Clemson

If there is one player in this draft the Raiders have to get if available, Isaiah Simmons is the guy. The Raiders have struggled at linebacker for years, and Simmons would drastically help that issue immediately.

Simmons could be used all around the field, with his athletic ability making him able to play great coverage, as well as tackle. One of the more versatile defensive players in this draft class, Simmons could play outside linebacker, or even in a safety role at the next level.

Pick 18- Javon Kinlaw- DT- South Carolina

The Raiders use both picks on the defensive side of the ball in this mock draft, as the team adds another player to their already young and promising defensive line. At 6’6 310lbs, Javon Kinlaw has the speed and strength to not only stop the run but to get to the quarterback, adding an interior pass rush that the Raiders lack.

Throughout the 2019 season, the defensive line has improved tremendously, but there is still a lot of work to be done. This is a defense that has been shredded in recent weeks, so adding two defensive talents in the first round is certainly not out of the question next April.
