Raiders 2020 NFL Draft mock roundup: Isaiah Simmons lands in Vegas

Pick 14- K’Lavon Chaisson- EDGE- LSU
This is the first time I have seen K’Lavon Chaisson on one of these lists, but he certainly has some first round talent. The LSU sophomore has struggled to stay healthy, but he possesses traits that cannot be taught.
Chaisson is one of the most athletic edge rushers in college football, as he has incredible speed to get around the edge at 6’4 250lbs. Despite the fact the Raiders have gotten better getting after the quarterback this season, they still need help in that department.
Pick 18- Justin Herbert- QB- Oregon
If the Raiders decide to move on from Derek Carr and select a quarterback in the first round, Justin Herbert is the most likely for Mike Mayock to select. With Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa likely off the board, the Raiders get a QB with athleticism, accuracy, and an arm to open up the offense.
It remains to be seen whether or not Carr will be the guy in Vegas, but Gruden has stuck by the narrative that he likes what he sees from him. If Carr is the guy, adding a quarterback in the first round makes absolutely no sense.
