Three Stars

1. Darren Waller

Darren Waller was matched up against safeties and linebackers in the first half while in the second half, he was covered by corners. Waller had ten targets for eight catches and 122 yards. The young tight end continues to improve and show why he’s worth the money they paid him with the signing earlier in the season. He was the only team with more than three targets in the game as Derek Carr struggled in the second-half as their defense gave up a ton of yards on the last drive of the game.

2. Josh Jacobs

Josh Jacobs looked good, given he has a broken shoulder and played through it. He had 24 carries and 89 yards for a 3.9 average in this game. Jacobs held his own and ran through an offensive line that struggled in pass protection as they gave up four sacks on the day. Jacobs was also shifty and caught a 14-yard pass behind the line of scrimmage and made two defenders miss in the backfield which leapfrogged him to a first-down reception and another set of downs for the Raiders.

3. Trayvon Mullen

Trayvon Mullen played a pretty good game defending three passes and leading the team in tackles with 6 solo and 1 assist. Mullen played very well against an offense that was hot in the second half. The rookie is taking on his new role by the horns and making sure he gets better as every week. It’s also to note the Nevin Lawson made a fantastic tackle on Leonard Fournette in the backfield which stopped a big run behind the line of scrimmage.

In fact, tacking wise, the whole secondary played a decent game, even if their pass-coverage was lacking in the second half.
