Oakland Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers

The Oakland Raiders have been one frustrating roller coaster with more lows then highs in recent weeks. It’s hard to believe that prior to Week 12, the Raiders were 6-4 and in prime position to earn a playoff spot.

Since then the wheels have completely fallen off, with a four game losing streak and being outscored 136-49 during that span, the Raiders are now basically completely out of playoff contention. Derek Carr and co. now travel to Los Angeles and face familiar foe Phillip Rivers and his Chargers.

Despite a Week 10 win over the Chargers in Oakland, this is not the same Raider team from that time. Although Rivers has been having quite the up and down season, this pales in comparison to the Raiders these last few weeks. With a pro Raider crowd more then likely in Los Angeles, I  still expect the skid to continue and the Raiders lose this one.

Prediction: Chargers 24, Raiders 14
