Detroit Lions at Denver Broncos

Up next we have the Denver Broncos taking on the Detroit Lions inside Mile High. This is an interesting battle of rookie quarterbacks, as Drew Lock and David Blough met last season in college playing for Missouri and Purdue.

In that game, the two signal-callers combined for over 900 passing yards, but this isn’t college and I do not see this one going to anything quite that length, nor do I see this one being very close. I think the Broncos defense hold Blough in check and come out on to. The bottom line is, this Lions team has really faltered since Matthew Stafford went out, and the franchise just put him on IR.

Denver plays tough in front of the home crowd, and they will be behind their new future franchise quarterback. Philip Lindsay will get the job done on the ground, and the Broncos will have  no problem winning this one at home.

Prediction: Broncos 27, Lions 6
