The Oakland Raiders take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16 of the 2019 NFL schedule, and here are three things to keep an eye on.

The Oakland Raiders have all but solidified that their playoff hopes are out the door after a devastating loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday in what would be the final game at home before the team ventures to Las Vegas. But don’t think that doesn’t mean they wont be playing for something these next two games.

technically speaking there is a hefty Christmas wish list of things that could happen for them to squeak into the playoffs as the 6th seed, but more importantly this Sunday they face a division rival in the Los Angeles Chargers for the last time as the Oakland Raiders.

The last time these two teams met was week 10 on November 7th in prime time for Thursday Night Football. In a game that came down to the wire with the Raiders besting the Chargers 26-24, the only thing more certain then a Raiders missed extra point to go up by two and potentially lose in heartbreaking fashion, was a meltdown by Phillip Rivers under two minutes on a potential game winning drive.

As both teams season are nearing an end and they battle one last time in 2019, here are 3 things to watch in this week 16 match up.
