Home Field Disadvantage

For years now its been the butt of many jokes that their away game against the Chargers is like an extra home game for the Raiders. Raider Nation seems to come out in droves no matter where they play, but Los Angeles quite literally was a second home for them. Even when they were in San Diego there was always a great chance Raider fans highly out numbered Chargers fans.

Unfortunately now that they’re in LA, you’re starting to see that trickle into more of their home games. Most notably we saw it go viral when they played the Steelers in week 6 and the Packers in week 9.

With how die hard Raider Nation is and the Raiders seemingly on the end of their farewell tour season in Oakland, be ready for the stands to be rocking in root of the away team. This Raiders roster that failed to secure a win for their final home crowd will undoubtedly get a second chance, even though it’ll be on enemy territory.

I imagine we could be in store for an overwhelming takeover of Silver and Black in the Dignity Health Sports Park this weekend.
