The Oakland Raiders desperately need to put a notch in the win column on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, and here is why they will.

The Oakland Raiders head into Week 16 on a downhill slide, but they still have a chance to make the playoffs if they win this week. Of course, they also need a couple of other teams to take care of business, but as of right now, they have been having a hard time just getting a win in recent weeks.

The Raiders are coming off of arguably the most frustrating loss of their season, blowing a big lead late in the game to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the final ever game in Oakland. Oakland’s playoff chances are incredibly slim, but there is still a chance, and at this point, that is all you can ask for.

Playing a divisional rival on the road is never easy, but the Raiders should have a sizable home-field advantage even away from the Coliseum. The Silver and Black have a strong fan base in the Los Angeles area, and you can be sure there will be more than a few Raiders fans in the building on Sunday afternoon.

The Raiders must swn this game to stay in the hunt, so let’s take a look at four reasons why this will happen.
