Raiders run defense vs Chargers running backs

One of the bright spots for the Raiders this season has been their run defense. Defensive tackles Maurice Hurst, PJ Hall, and Johnathan Hankins have done a great job of playing like brick walls this season.

On the other side, the Chargers have been one of the least effective rushing offenses in the NFL this season, averaging just 94.7 rushing yards per game, ranking in the bottom half of the league. Although the Chargers running backs are good, they have not been used in the right way this season, and I would not expect that to change in Week 16.

Overall, this has the potential to be a solid matchup on Sunday, as the Raiders are still alive in the playoff race, and the Chargers are hungry for a win over their division rival at home. Of course, Oakland could be eliminated by the time this one kicks off, so that is another thing to keep an eye on in Week 16.
