Cornerback. Utes . Jaylon Johnson. 80. player. 843.

Jaylon Johnson has become somewhat of a regular in my seven-round mock drafts, and for good reason. The Raiders group of cornerbacks is improving, but there is still a lot of work to do. The Raiders drafted too many corners last year for this to be something they look for in the first round, especially with how well Trayvon Mullen has been playing.

If Jaylon Johnson is available in the third round, the Raiders will be getting a great talent that can make an immediate impact. Johnson is long for a cornerback and will be able to handle tall, strong receivers that lineup against him. He is aggressive in coverage, pressing receivers at the line and going after the ball when it comes his way.

He moves much better than most corners that are his size, and if the Raiders want a player that can make an immediate impact, this is the guy.  With youth already at this position group heading in 2020, Johnson could be the final piece of the puzzle.
