Prediction

The Raiders offense has shown nothing over the last few weeks to make me feel like they will score over 20 points against the Chargers, and although the Chargers only scored 10 points last week, they did put up 45 against a Jaguars team that held the Raiders to under twenty points.

Without Trent Brown, Derek Carr will likely be sacked on numerous occasions, and without Josh Jacobs, the run game may be non-existent. The Raiders are going to struggle to move the ball and are going to need to rely on the defense to put them in good field position.

The defense is missing some players as well, but they played well last week, and they played phenomenal against the Chargers in their last outing. Unfortunately, if the offense does not get anything going, it will be too much to ask of the defense to stop the Chargers all game long.

Rivers is going to have a big game against the Raiders, or at least a big enough game to outscore Derek Carr and the Raiders.  As possible as it is that the Raiders win this game, they have shown nothing in the last month that makes me believe that they will. Unfortunately, this one ends with the crowd booing Gruden and Carr on their way out once again.

Prediction: Chargers 31, Raiders 13
