As is the case every offseason, rumors will swirl as to whether or not DerekCarr will be the starting quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020.

The Oakland, and soon-to-be Las Vegas Raiders have the best fans in sports, as they wear their passion on their sleeves, especially when it comes to Derek Carr. The Raiders starting quarterback the last six season, Carr has put up some good numbers statistically, but it has not translated to many W’s.

Raider Nation has never been divided on any topic as much as they have been when it comes to arr. This offseason will be one of the most interesting in a while, as rumors have already started heating up regarding Derek and Jon Gruden’s relationship.

So today, we will discuss if Derek Carr will be the Raiders quarterback heading to Vegas.

The 2019 season started off as a huge success, but with success comes expectations. And for the Raiders, 6-4 quickly turned to 6-8 and killed any expectations the fan base had in regards to the playoffs.

So why is Derek Carr getting so much of the blame? Hasn’t he been the best quarterback since Rich Gannon? Yes, he has, but that doesn’t mean the Raiders can’t want more from there quarterback.

Today I want to take a look at some issues with the Raiders, and determine if Carr can successfully lead this team and if it makes sense to bring him to Vegas.

The biggest issue I see with our offense is they simply can’t score points.

Raider Nation knows how bad our offense has been at putting points on the board, and they’ve often come to three conclusions as to why we can’t consistently score points: Receivers can’t separate, Jon Gruden’s playcalling is inefficient, and lastly, Derek Carr just isn’t that good.

So today I want to debunk two of the three claims. Starting with the fact the receivers are not able to separate and get it done.
